Our team had the pleasure of volunteering at the Dandelion Support Network recently and loved being able to offer our time and help supporting a fantastic local charity.
Dandelion Support Network are a grassroots not-for-profit that supports children and families in need. Their team accepts donations of good quality preloved and new nursery furniture and items for babies and children for families in need. The items are processed by volunteers who follow high quality assurance standards so that the goods can be enjoyed by their new owner. Dandelion partners with some amazing agencies and support services who work with some of the most vulnerable families in our communities. They rely on social workers to share with them what families really need and to ensure the donations find a suitable home where they truly make an impact.
Our team helped the regular volunteers clean and put together nursery items such as bassinets, cots and change tables, we sorted through clothing and bedding and made sure the donated toys were in working condition. We loved helping out and have already booked in for our next volunteering date! Thank you to the amazing team at Dandelion for all you do, it truly is an amazing charity.
