Life might be on hold but the property marketing is still going strong

As we enter our seventh week of lockdown, our team are still seeing a huge demand for properties in the Sutherland Shire. Buyers are cashed up and ready to purchase as soon as their ideal property becomes available. Our team have sold 19 properties since we first went into lockdown at the end of June and the good news is things don’t seem to be slowing down.

At the moment around 40% of our properties are off market transactions and don’t even make it to the market before they are snapped up at a premium price. This is a great opportunity for vendors to take advantage of our active database as well as save on marketing costs. Regardless of whether the property is exclusively off market or has a full marketing campaign, the average days on market is only around 10!

Our team are conducting lots of private one-on-one inspections and are finding buyers are loving this process and being able to inspect the property at a time and day that suits them. Our virtual auctions have been extremely successful and buyers and vendors feeling more comfortable with the process as they are seeing the fantastic results that are being achieved. The top question we get asked is which property type is achieving the highest price? We are selling everything from five bedroom family homes to one bedroom apartments at premium prices, it’s the location that is drawing buyers in.
